Yes, folks, even I have a crappy starting page.

From here, I intend to build up my site. As it turns out, I've done more work on the various inner sites than I have the main page. This is just the start of overhauling everything. I'll even be working out some CSS to make these pages suck less, visually.

Games

One of the things I enjoy is Role-Playing Games. Not the graphic-style MMORPGs like Ultima Online, Final Fantasy XI, or City of Heroes/Villains, but the old-style pen-and-paper use-the-gods-damned-dice RPGs. I tend to play on IRC, although there are a few tabletop games I've been in. Unfortunately, I tend to be the GM more often than the player... and finding a game to play in is becoming difficult.

My Characters

  • Vall Shi'uarra Woodshadow
  • Will Scarlet
  • Xiao Long
  • Zarquon

Worldbuilding

In addition to my RPing, I tend to do a lot in the world-building sense. In many ways, this was an outgrowth of my GMing... I found that the sheer amount of books needed to get details on some worlds for GMing took up most of my bookshelves, so I decided to create my own instead.

Writing Projects

I've done some writing in my time. It hasn't always been the best stuff, and I admit I have a long way to go until I consider myself even "good". But I'm slowly improving.... I hope.

Other Stuff

Darth Dice - A javascript-based page for doing basic RPG-style dice rolls that I wrote ages ago. Not applicable for games like Shadowrun or Legend of the Five Rings, which use exploding dice, but suitable for D20, Tri-Stat, and GURPS games, among others. One of these days I'll add in that functionality.

Webcomics Bookmarks Page - Yes, I read webcomics. These are most of the ones I read on a regular or semi-regular basis.

Ships and their Roles - A little information page I made up for a game I was in where the GM displayed a dismally low knowledge of how various spacecraft would be classified, using modern-day naval ships and aircraft as a basis. Kudos to the new Battlestar Galactica for using one of the more overlooked craft in this file.

On the Ultimate Sci-Fi Profile, I scored as being on: Babylon 5 (Babylon 5). The universe is erupting into war and your government picks the wrong side. How much worse could things get? It doesn't matter, because no matter what you have your friends and you'll do the right thing. In the end that will be all that matters. Now if only the Psi Cops would leave you alone.
