Longshanks is my grand experiment character: take the same character, and convert him into as many RPG systems as I could. There are still a few systems I still want to convert him into, HERO/Champions 5e and DC Heroes being among them. That'd complete the 10 systems I have access to.

I decided to start with Longshanks as a Rifts character, then convert him into the other, more generic systems, trying to keep the concept of the character during conversion. The reason I chose the Wilderness Scout class in Rifts is that this character archetype is valid in a number of settings. Of all the systems I've converted him into to date, the d20 Modern character is the one that least matches the others.

The feud had paused long enough for Ginny Hatfield to marry into the McCoy family. Upon Ginny's death, five years after his birth, the feud resumed.

History:
Hatfield McCoy hails from the northern Appalacchian mountains, somewhere in the vicinity of the Virginia/West Virginia border. As his name suggests, he was born to the McCoy family during a brief pause in the centuries-long Hatfield-McCoy feud. The feud had paused long enough for Ginny Hatfield to marry into the McCoy family. Upon Ginny's death, five years after his birth, the feud resumed.
