Dr. Henry Pym is a researcher at Dynatecnics, a materials processing company in Chicago, Illinois, who discovered a means to harness subatomic particles he discovered, referred to as Pym particles, which permit access to a sidereal dimension where mass is virtual, enabling him or others to shrink or grow to different heights as they desire.
The Astonishing Ant-Man follows Dr. Pym and his girlfriend, Janet van Dyne, in their adventures as the insect-sized adventurers Ant-Man and Wasp.
