The Legion of Net.Heroes

Welcome to my little corner of the Legion of Net.Heroes. Never heard of the LNH? Thought the link was a typo, and shoulda read "LSH"? Confused by the logo? I thought you were.

The LNH is an imprint on the newsgroup rec.arts.comics.creative, which by charter has nothing to do with established "mainstream" characters or universes. It is also hailed as the most friendly of the established RACC universes, and also the one that will drive you the most insane. It has a vivid and colorful six-plus year back history, yet newcomers can jump in at any time. Technically, it is not fan-fic. So why is it on this site? I didn't have any other place to put it. }:)=

The LNH's main site is at www.eyrie.org/lnh/. There you will find such treasures as Scav's "401 Blues", Dave van Domelan's "Dvandom Force", and Tom Russell's "Teenfactor". Go there, and enjoy. BUT NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE READ MY STUFF! :)

As of right now, my LNH writings include a three-issue limited series entitled "Johnny Fearless", after the title character, a "regular series" (racc does not have true monthlies) entitled "a.outSiders", and a brief vignette that appeared in "System Corruptors". In addition, I am hosting Paul "UpLink" DeSanto's "Oozelfinch/Kiwi War" here. If you're wondering what that thing is up above, that's an Oozelfinch. Don't worry, the writings will explain everything... at least, they should. Right?

Oh, and thanks to Dave van Domelan for the nifty LNH logo above.

Johnny Fearless

My first attempts at the LNH were with this limited series. I wasn't sure at the time how it would be received. The story follows the tale of Johnny Ferrifous, a newspaper reporter working for the Net.ropolis Daily Plan.net whe speaks only in "voice-over" dialogue. He is called "Fearless" by the LNHers he covers because he is the only person to fall victim to Cheesecake Eater Lad's more ... exotic specialties on a regular basis.

a.outSiders

Framed for a murder they did not commit. On the run from former teammates. All they want to do is clear their names and keep from killing each other.

They are the a.outSiders. Veteran LNHers Incredible Man-With-No-Life, and CAPTAIN CAPITALIZE; rookie LNHers Skunk Girl and Shake-N-Bake Lass; the stupid and insane Great Oozelfinch, master of the Atomic Yodel; and reluctant hero Lightcycle. Aided in part by voice-over reporter Johnny Fearless. My first attempt at a team book in the LNH. Have fun reading. I know I had fun writing.

The Oozelfinch/Kiwi War

By Paul "UpLink" DeSanto

Ah, life was fairly normal once. Well, at least what passed for normal in the LNHHQ. And then, the Oozelfinches showed up. And the LNH's resident mascots, a flock of green-feathered kiwis from Net.Zealand, were none to pleased.

This is UpLink's first foray into the madness that is the LNH. I know him in Real Life, and his particular flavor of writing fits into the LNH perfectly.

System Corruptors

This anthology title focuses on the LNH's assorted net.villains. In my small backup segment, I explored the back history of the a.outSider Skunk Girl, and the villain of the series, Net.amorph.
