#24c: A Possible Origin for Skunk Girl

It was five years ago. I'd been a mere lackey working for Manga Man at the time. I hadn't stolen enough of his manga.tech to make a name for myself just yet.

Anyways, we had just captured a young girl - I'd guess that she was only 15 at the time - that Manga Man had been interested in. Don't ask. He's admitted it himself, he's a pervert. I never figured him for a pedophile, tho.

It wasn't the fact that the girl was just a teenager that grabbed my attention. After seeing some of the other women in Manga Man's prison, I really wasn't surprised. However, this one seemed to hold his attention longer than all of the others combined.

"Excellent!" [translated from the Japanese] he shouted. "With this girl, I can bait a trap for the prize herself. Take her to the laboratory!"

Curious, I broke away from the group I was with and followed the techs. What I saw horrified me. The girl was tied down to a stretcher, and had IVs stuck in her arm. Above her, I was horrified to see a bag marked "DNA Mutagens", as well as some others that I couldn't quite make out. On her head was what appeared to be a Virtual Reality headset, but, knowing Manga Man, I was certain it was being put to a much more sinister purpose.

Hearing footsteps approaching behind me, I did what any good lacky would do... I hurried down the corridor in the other direction.

A few days later, I was introduced to my new "partner". You can imagine my surprise when I came face-to-face with the girl. However, she had been changed... Instead of a normal human girl, the girl in front of me had black fur all over her body and sported a fluffy black tail. She was wearing a simple one-piece bodysuit that left her back completely bare, so I had no problems seeing the white stripe that ran from her forehead down to the tip of the tail.

"And you are?" I asked.

"Stacy," she replied. "When are we going after my cousin?"

"Your... cousin?" This puzzled me. It was obvious Manga Man had messed with her head.

"You know her. Or at least heard of her. The LNHer known as Panta."

Of course, we bungled the job. When we got back, I discovered that Stacy had convinced Manga Man that the whole fiasco was my fault, and so he tried to kill me. I managed to escape in one of the Val.ky.ries.

A few months ago, I got the chance to exact my revenge. Stacy had just joined her cousin's teammates. Talk about irony. I believe I saw Irony Man look around in confusion. Once again, something went wrong, and the wrong person was killed.

When next we meet, Stacy Boomer, you will die.
