of Brig. Gen. Victor Mussmoth
METAL FIRE, aka Kimberly Roberts. This young woman, whom I have had the pleasure of personally meeting, is arguably the most powerful person on the planet. She has been permanently bonded to a battlesuit of her father's design, a battlesuit unlike any other. She has also suffered base betrayal at her father's hands. She is definately one to watch. No longer the innocent girl who donned the armor to save her family, Metal Fire has matured rapidly over the past days. Note: Despite her raw power, Metal Fire is still young. She may be able to be manipulated for our ends.
ALLAN SMALE. This young man is perhaps the biggest threat to our New York operations. Not only does he possess a sharp, intelligent, and determined mind - as evidenced by his unwillingness to submit to Laura Harnagorn's brainwashing - but he somehow possesses psychokinetic and telepathic abilities. He can move objects with a throught, read the thoughts of those he touches, and even eliminate Laura's conditioning of others, if he so chooses - the same conditioning he resisted. Add to that his natural leadership abilities, and the fact that my old friend Jack has taken him under his wing, and I am forced to admit that Mr. Smale cannot be allowed to live much longer.
DR. JEROME ROBERTS, Ph.D., M.S., M.E., B.S., B.A., etc. What kind of man experiments on his own family? My skin crawled when I met this man. Now, I'm far from being a saint, but this man makes me look like an angel. (Fallen Angel, perhaps... but that's still better than him.) Same with the rest of the subversive organization he's blindly loyal to, the Unexpected. I have to give the man credit, he is a genius. His Human-I-Form battlesuit is an engineering miracle. If this man never comes out of the coma he is in, I'll be a very happy man.
HEATHER McHUGH. I knew SSGT McHugh, back before the "accident" which placed his tomboy daughter in Laura's loving care. Up until recently, I was proud to see the direction in life she was taking. She would have been one hell of an operative. That is, if that Smale kid hadn't screwed things up. Heather, my dear, I am truly sorry, but you leave me no choice....
JACK, my old friend. Once, long ago, we were the worst of rivals. Later, we became the best of friends. Now, it seems we have come full circle. You are aiding my ally's enemies. I cannot let that continue. And you, my friend, cannot let me stop you. Ah, the road not taken. If only you had said "yes" on the phone last month. One way or another, there will be a reckoning. And may God have mercy on those caught in the crossfire.
DANETTE SIMPSON. I hate seeing wasted potential. This young lady was Laura's pick to become a living weapon. Sadly, when she was given power, she turned against our plans, and has faded from sight. Perhaps, if nudged int he right direction, she could be a powerful ally. Or, if she so chooses, become our worst enemy. We must be careful. Where Laura's conditioning was unable to achieve full success, other less direct methods may.
KEILI NEPHTHYS, self-styled vampire queen. Who is she? What does she want? Is she simply unable to control her unnatural craving for blood? Or is there a method to her madness. Ms. Nephthys exhibits many of the classic vampire features: enhanced senses, craving for blood, able to turn her body to mist, and able to grow leathery wings from her back. However, she does not appear to suffer from many of the "classical" vampire weaknesses: sunlight, garlic, religious symbols. If nothing else, we should keep an eye on her. She may be useful, but we may have to eliminate her.
MICHAEL JOCASTA, vampire hunter. Rumor has it that he is himself one of these "Children of the Night". For the past ten years he has hunted Ms. Nephthys, with varied success. Do they share a past? Is he hunting her because she made him what he is, and he wants revenge? Or is it guilt that drives this man, guilt over making her what she ultimately became? One day, there will be and end to this hunt, with an undisputed winner, and an irrevocably dead loser.
THE SWAMP PATROL, a band of vigilantes n Allentown, PA. In the grand scheme of things, they are barely worth mentioning. However, the team foes have two powerful members, Ted "Arsenal" Stolid, and Donna "Doppelganger" Valin. (Code names. How ridiculous, especially in ones so young.) However, they may prove useful, should we require agents in that area.
