History: Timeshadow was a patient at a US Army run drug and alcohol rehab center when discovered by Mystique, who broke him out and recruited him into the Mutant Liberation Front. Apparently, he was still considered "active duty" at the time; he'd been sent to the rehab center by his superior officers in the Army.

As a member of the MLF, Timeshadow was assigned to assist in receiving a shipment of weapons from one of AIM's underworld dealers, only to have the shipment interrupted by a fight between the X-Men and their frenemy Mimic. Following this altercation, Timeshadow was taken into police custody and is believed imprisoned at the Fort Leavenworth military prison.
