The Battleaxe-class Destroyer is the standard escort vessel in the Earth Defense Alliance Navy. Typcially, six are assigned to escort a single cruiser or strike carrier, and twelve are assigned to carrier or battleship task groups. They are also seen escorting transports and Apollo science vessels.
