In the simplest terms, a Headshrinker is a doctor who can't stand the sight of blood. This doctor specializes in treating diseases of the mind. Ironically, it is this doctor's exposure to the insane and deranged that leads to the Headshrinker developing an insanity of his own. This innate insanity had led to many Headshrinkers getting a reputation as a "quack", "psycho-babbler", and other derogative names.
At levels four, eight, and twelve, roll once on the Random Insanity table. The Headshrinker gains experience on the Cyber-Doc experience table.
Attribute Requirements: A IQ of 12. A high MA and ME are helpful, but not necessary..
O.C.C. Skills:
O.C.C. Related Skills: Select six other skills, plus two additional skills at levels 3 and 6, and one additional skill at levels 9, 12, and 15. All new skills start at level 1 proficiency.
Secondary Skills: The character also starts with six secondary skills from the previous list, sans bonuses, plus an addition secondary at levels 3, 7, and 12.
Standard Equipment: First aid kit, a pad of paper, several writing utensils, hand-held computer, IRMSS, Robot Medical Kit, hand-held computerized blood-pressure machine, and a portable compu-drug dispenser. The Headshrinker is also likely to have some sort of lightweight body armor and carry a weapon (mostly for protection from irate ex-customers gunning for him); select one energy and automatic weapon; both with 2 extra ammo clips. The character's vehicle can be just about any kind of non-military ground vehicle; player's choice.
Money: A city Headshrinker will have 4D6x1000 in credit. Wandering Headshrinkers are rare, and will have 1D4x1000 in credit, and a black market item worth 4D6x1000 credits.
